A survey of over 100 anonymous MLB players revealed their preferred managers and team reputations. Bruce Bochy and Terry Francona were favored managers, praised for their experience and leadership. The Colorado Rockies, Oakland Athletics, Miami Marlins, and Chicago White Sox received the most negative feedback, cited for poor management, low payrolls, and inadequate player treatment. Conversely, the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees were highly regarded for their winning culture, financial resources, and player support. Other teams with good reputations included the Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, and Cleveland Guardians.
