The Houston Texans are reportedly close to signing veteran running back Nick Chubb. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the signing is pending a physical. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler added that Chubb is considering Houston after the Cleveland Browns drafted multiple running backs, creating a crowded backfield. The Texans see Chubb as a strong complement to their current running back, Joe Mixon, after Dameon Pierce's low yardage in 2024. Chubb's visit to Houston is expected on Monday.
