A new study published in JAMA Neurology reveals significant regional disparities in dementia rates across the US. Researchers analyzing data from 1.2 million veterans found the Southeast had the highest risk (25% increase), followed by the Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions (23% increase). The Mid-Atlantic region showed the lowest rates.
