Microsoft and ASUS unveiled the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handheld gaming devices, running Windows 11. These devices, previously known as Project Kennan, are essentially an Xbox-branded version of the ASUS ROG Ally, featuring AMD Ryzen Z2 processors and varying storage options. While not running native Xbox games, Xbox Play Anywhere titles and cloud gaming will offer some Xbox compatibility. The devices launch Holiday 2025 in select regions, with pricing yet to be announced, but expected to range from $499-$999. Microsoft is also reportedly developing its own native Xbox handheld for a 2027 release.
