The Missouri Senate passed a $1.5 billion plan to prevent the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals from relocating to Kansas. The deal, reached after intense negotiations and a boost in tornado relief funds, includes $1.15 billion for Chiefs' stadium renovations. While securing the teams, the plan's passage was a narrow victory, with a 19-13 vote. The House is expected to approve the plan on Monday. However, the Chiefs retain the option to move to Kansas, where a new stadium offer expires June 30th.
