Texas defeated Tennessee 2-0, advancing to the Women's College World Series championship series for the third time in four years. Katie Stewart's home run and a combined three-hitter by Mac Morgan and Teagan Kavan secured the victory. Kavan entered in relief in the fifth inning and pitched a hitless remainder. Texas will face either Oklahoma or Texas Tech in a best-of-three series starting Wednesday. Tennessee's Karlyn Pickens pitched well, striking out nine, but the Longhorns' offense proved decisive.
