The New York Mets swept the Colorado Rockies for the fourth time this season, extending the Rockies' losing streak to eight games. This marks Colorado's fourth eight-game losing streak, leaving them with a dismal 9-50 record, the worst in the modern era through 59 games. Their ten sweeps in twenty series tie them with three other teams for the most in modern baseball history. Juan Soto's tenth home run contributed to the Mets' 5-3 victory.
