Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the death of Mohammed Sinwar, believed to be the head of Hamas's armed wing, in a recent Gaza Strip strike. Hamas has not confirmed the death. Sinwar, brother of slain Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, played a key role in Hamas's military operations. His death, following the elimination of other top commanders, could complicate ceasefire efforts, as he held significant influence on hostage release negotiations. Israel continues its offensive, vowing to secure the return of hostages and disarm Hamas.
