The news follows the success of the Phantom Liberty expansion, which sold 10 million copies. While still in early development, the sequel signifies CD Projekt Red's continued investment in the Cyberpunk universe. The studio aims to learn from past experiences to ensure a smoother development and launch for the upcoming title. The Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, including Phantom Liberty, is also slated for release on Switch 2 and macOS.
