Kami Rita Sherpa, 55, has ascended Mount Everest for a record-breaking 31st time, surpassing his own previous record. He first conquered the peak in 1994. His achievement comes amidst a busy climbing season with over 1000 climbers aiming for the summit. Close competitors include Pasang Dawa Sherpa with 29 ascents, and emerging climbers like Tashi Gyalzen Sherpa and Nima Rinji Sherpa are also making significant progress.
