HP Misses Earnings, Blames Trump Tariffs

Read, Watch or Listen

HP's second-quarter revenue surpassed expectations at $13.22 billion, exceeding the projected $13.14 billion. However, earnings per share (71 cents) fell short of the anticipated 80 cents, leading to a 15% stock drop. The shortfall and lowered guidance for the third and fourth quarters are attributed to President Trump's tariffs. HP is mitigating these costs by expanding production outside China, aiming for complete tariff cost offset by Q4.
