Nintendo announced updates regarding Switch 1 game compatibility with the upcoming Switch 2. Over 40 games will receive free updates to function on the new console, including titles like Doom Eternal and Pizza Tower. However, several notable games, such as Alien Isolation and Harvestella, remain incompatible. Additionally, several streaming apps, including Crunchyroll and Hulu, will not be supported at launch. Nintendo plans to provide further updates on game and app compatibility.
