HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series has announced its lead cast. Arabella Stanton, known for her West End work, will play Hermione Granger alongside Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. Over 30,000 young actors auditioned for the roles. The series, a faithful adaptation of the books, boasts a stellar cast including John Lithgow as Dumbledore and will stream exclusively on HBO Max. A release date is yet to be announced.
