Ross Chastain secured a stunning victory in the Coca-Cola 600, his first Cup Series win since last September. Starting last after a practice crash, Chastain made a late-race pass to overtake William Byron and Denny Hamlin, leading the final six laps. His Trackhouse Racing team worked tirelessly, staying up until 2:30 a.m. to prepare a backup car. Byron led most laps but ultimately finished second, while Kyle Larson's race ended early due to a crash.
