Tap title to read story
The Atlanta Braves have activated outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. from the injured list after a nearly year-long absence due to a knee injury. Acuña's return is expected to boost the team's inconsistent offense. To make room on the roster, the Braves designated shortstop Orlando Arcia for assignment. Arcia's departure was anticipated given the emergence of Nick Allen and Arcia's decline in performance. Utility player Luke Williams will assume the backup shortstop role.
