Marvel Delays Avengers Movies: Quality Over Quantity
Tap title to read story
Marvel Studios has delayed its next two Avengers films, "Doomsday" and "Secret Wars," by seven months each. The delay, according to insiders, is to accommodate the massive scale of the productions. The films will now release in December 2026 and 2027 respectively. This shift reflects a move towards quality over quantity at Marvel, following Disney CEO Bob Iger's comments about the studio's previous output. While the studio's future plans remain somewhat unclear beyond these Avengers films, the delay suggests a strategic refocus on fewer, larger-scale projects.
