A massive database containing 184 million login credentials for various services, including Apple, Facebook, and Google, was discovered exposed online. Security researcher Jeremiah Fowler found the database, which included usernames and plaintext passwords, linked to accounts in at least 29 countries, raising significant privacy and national security concerns. While the origin of the data remains unknown, the researcher contacted the hosting provider, resulting in the database being secured. The sheer scale and sensitive nature of the exposed information highlight the ongoing risk of unsecured databases.
