Former Ukrainian politician Andrii Portnov, 51, a key associate of pro-Russian ex-President Viktor Yanukovych, was shot dead in Spain. Spanish police are investigating the multiple gunshot wounds sustained as he entered his vehicle in Pozuelo de Alarcón. The attackers fled the scene. Portnov, sanctioned by the US for alleged corruption, is the second high-profile Ukrainian-related figure killed in Spain recently.
