Tap title to read story
NFL players will participate in the 2028 Olympic flag football tournament from July 14-21, a week before most NFL training camps begin. This minimizes disruption to the upcoming NFL season, impacting only a few players (around 20 total across six teams). The short tournament duration and potential injury risk are considerations, as is the time commitment for pre-tournament preparation. The NFL's goal is to increase global football popularity by showcasing its players on the international stage.
