Iran and Britain are engaged in a diplomatic spat after three Iranian men were charged with spying in the UK. The men, who had claimed asylum, are accused of surveillance targeting journalists associated with Iran International. Following the arrests and charges, both countries summoned each other's envoys. Iran deemed the arrests unjustified and politically motivated, while Britain stated protecting national security is paramount and Iran must be held accountable.
