Google is replacing Gmail's Android "quick reply" interface with a simpler docked reply bar. The previous design, inspired by messaging apps, was rolled out last August but later removed from Workspace accounts due to performance issues. The new bar, persistently docked at the bottom, offers reply, reply all, forward, and emoji reaction options. This change isn't fully deployed yet, appearing on some devices with Gmail 2025.05.04.x.
