Fresh & Ready Foods, an L.A.-based company, issued a voluntary recall of several pre-made food items due to listeria contamination. The recall affects products sold in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Washington with "Use by" dates between April 22 and May 19. The listeria strain found on Fresh & Ready equipment matched that from a 2024 outbreak sickening at least 10 people. Although no illnesses are currently linked to the recalled products, the company acted as a precautionary measure. Consumers are urged to discard affected items and contact the company for refunds.
