London commemorated the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a grand celebration. A military procession featuring the Household Division and Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery marched down the Mall to Buckingham Palace, where the Royal Family, veterans, and political figures including King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer, gathered. The Red Arrows performed a spectacular flypast over the Palace. The day's events also included a recitation of Winston Churchill's VE Day speech and a poignant display of ceramic poppies at the Tower of London. Huge crowds lined the Mall to witness the historic occasion.
