Bolton: Trump's Second Term is Even More Incoherent
Tap title to read story
Former National Security Advisor John Bolton assesses President Trump's second term's first 100 days, characterizing it as even more incoherent than his first. Bolton rejects labeling Trump a fascist, citing a lack of coherent ideology, but criticizes his impulsive decision-making and focus on personal gain. He highlights Trump's campaign of retribution against perceived enemies and numerous controversial actions, including defying court orders and silencing dissent. While concerned about these constitutional infringements, Bolton believes the strength of US institutions will ultimately prevail, though not without significant cost and potential long-term consequences.
