A newly discovered carnivorous caterpillar, dubbed the "bone collector," has been found on Oahu, Hawaii. This unique insect decorates its protective silk case with the body parts of its spider prey, a practice unseen in other caterpillars. Researchers believe this camouflage helps it feed undetected. Extremely rare, with only 62 found in over 20 years, its origins date back at least 6 million years. Scientists are urging conservation efforts to protect this unique lineage.
