Adobe Tool Lets Creators Control AI Training Data Use

Read, Watch or Listen

Adobe launched a new web tool, the Adobe Content Authenticity App, allowing creators to add content credentials to images, including ownership information and a flag indicating their preference against AI training data use. This utilizes the C2PA standard, aiming to give creators more control over how their work is used. While Adobe is in talks with AI companies for adoption, the success depends on their cooperation, as ignoring the flags is a possibility. The app also includes a Chrome extension for credential verification and supports JPG and PNG files.
