Eli Lilly is suing four telehealth companies – Mochi Health, Willow Health, Fella Health, and Delilah and Henry Meds – for illegally selling compounded versions of its weight-loss drug, tirzepatide. These companies allegedly sold unauthorized copies, altered dosages and formulations, and made misleading claims about their products. Lilly argues these actions violate existing laws prohibiting the compounding of readily available drugs. The lawsuits follow earlier actions against compounding pharmacies. The telehealth companies have not yet responded to the allegations, while some compounding pharmacies plan to fight back, raising concerns about the legal boundaries of compounding versus unauthorized drug duplication.
