The New Pornographers have immediately cut ties with drummer Joe Seiders following his arrest for possession of child pornography. Seiders was arrested in Palm Desert, CA after an investigation into reports of suspicious activity involving minors at a Chick-fil-A. Police found evidence of child pornography and other crimes during a search of his property. The band expressed shock and horror at the news, offering their support to those affected. Seiders is being held on $1 million bail.
