The footage, taken by a remotely operated vehicle at a depth of 600 meters, reveals details about the squid's appearance and behavior. This discovery, along with the first ever live sighting of a glacial glass squid, highlights the mysteries still surrounding deep-sea life in the Southern Ocean.
