Israel says it has received the remains of 3 hostages from Gaza
Israel said Sunday that the remains of three hostages were handed over from Gaza for forensic review, as a fragile month-old ceasefire held. Hamas said the bodies were found in a tunnel in southern Gaza. Before the handover, militants had returned the remains of 17 hostages, with 11 still in Gaza. U.S. President Donald Trump said the remains of Omer Neutra, an American-Israeli tank platoon commander, were among those returned. Grieving families continue to rally as Israel releases 15 Palestinian remains for each Israeli body, while Gaza health officials struggle to identify bodies. The truce envisions a stabilization force.
