Boston. Emil Lilleberg scored on a rebound with 95 seconds left as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 on Saturday in Boston, snapping Tampa Bay’s three-game losing streak and preventing Boston from clinching a playoff berth outright; Brandon Hagel also scored, Andrei Vasilevskiy made 19 saves and Jeremy Swayman made 22 saves.

Boston’s loss extended the Bruins’ losing streak to five games and delayed their ability to clinch at home; the team still holds the top wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference and could clinch if the New Jersey Devils beat the Detroit Red Wings in regulation tonight, while players and coaches said they would regroup and play the next scheduled game the following day.

Tempe, Ariz. — Tillman Scholars gathered at the annual Pat's Run this week, meeting in a pre-race room before a one-mile walk to the 4.2-mile race start at Sun Devil Stadium. Participants, including graduate scholars, said initial unease gave way to ease and networking; one scholar, Jason Williams of UCLA, described imposter syndrome upon selection.

Arizona Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur attended today and spoke about Tillman's servant leadership and impact. The race, begun in 2004 to honor Tillman after he left the NFL to enlist in 2002 and was killed in 2004, continues to be a platform for veteran support, scholarship visibility and community fundraising this year.

WASHINGTON — A federal appeals court on Saturday instructed a judge to reconsider national-security implications before halting construction on President Donald Trump's $400 million White House ballroom, returning the case to U.S. District Judge Richard Leon. The three-judge D.C. Circuit panel said it lacked sufficient information to decide how much of the project could be suspended without risking the safety of the president, his family, or White House staff.

The appeals court extended a temporary stay of the lower-court injunction to April 17, giving the administration time to seek Supreme Court review and to provide additional evidence about ongoing excavation adjacent to the Executive Mansion. Trump's legal team argued that an immediate halt would leave the Executive Mansion exposed, while the panel — noted in some reports as a 2-1 decision — asked the trial judge to clarify whether the injunction interferes with security plans.

HOUSTON — The Artemis II crew returned to Houston on Saturday after the Orion spacecraft splashed down in the Pacific on April 10, concluding a 10-day mission that carried astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen on a crewed lunar flyby and deep-space trajectory test.

The crew flew from the recovery area off San Diego to Ellington Field and received a public welcome that included NASA officials and family members; Commander Reid Wiseman acknowledged international partners and the NASA Glenn Research Center during a pre-reentry communication, and agencies scheduled postflight debriefs, biomedical checks and data analysis this week.

PROVO, Utah. Collin Chandler announced Saturday morning that he is transferring from the University of Kentucky to Brigham Young University, posting on Instagram that he is "coming home" and captioning his commitment, "Cougar nation, let's rock." Chandler, a Farmington High product and 2022 four-star recruit, played two seasons at Kentucky and posted starting experience and NCAA Tournament appearances.

This week the commitment reshapes BYU's offseason roster picture as Chandler joins returning and incoming guards while other players enter the transfer portal and the NBA draft; Chandler averaged 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 66 games at Kentucky and shot above 40 percent from three-point range, information cited by regional outlets and team reports.

Augusta, Ga. — The Masters announced on Saturday that this year's total prize purse will be $22.5 million with the winner's share set at $4.5 million; if Rory McIlroy secures a second consecutive title on Sunday he would receive the $4.5 million first-place prize. McIlroy entered the third round with a six-stroke lead.

The announcement raises the Masters' payout from $21 million last year and aligns the winner's check with recent large purses such as the Players Championship; the top four finishers will each earn at least $1 million. Tournament organizers released the figures this weekend, and the final round is scheduled for Sunday with prize distribution finalized after play.

Washington: Two US Navy guided-missile destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday as US Central Command said it began setting conditions to clear sea mines said to have been laid by Iran. CENTCOM named the USS Frank E. Peterson and USS Michael Murphy and said additional forces, including underwater drones, could join the effort.

The move follows President Donald Trump's posts stating the United States had begun clearing the strait and claiming Iranian mine-laying vessels were destroyed; CENTCOM said it will share a safe passage with the maritime industry soon. Media outlets including Reuters, AFP and Axios reported the operation had not been coordinated with Tehran, a point likely to affect upcoming diplomatic and maritime coordination.

Washington — U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio revoked lawful permanent resident status for three Iranian nationals, Seyed Eissa Hashemi, Maryam Tahmasebi and their son this week, and federal agents arrested them in Los Angeles, the State Department and DHS said Tuesday as the family was placed into ICE custody.

Los Angeles authorities confirmed ICE detention and DHS said the individuals face removal proceedings this week; Secretary Rubio cited alleged links to Masoumeh Ebtekar and officials noted similar revocations last week involving relatives of Qasem Soleimani. Removal hearings and potential appeals are expected in coming weeks while agencies review national security documentation and legal options.

Frisco, Texas — Dallas Cowboys defensive back Markquese Bell was arrested this week in the Prosper/Collin County area and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, according to local jail records and police reports. The arrest was logged in county records and reported Friday into Saturday by multiple regional outlets.

By Saturday afternoon jail listings indicated Bell remained in custody and had completed magistration; the Cowboys acknowledged awareness but declined further comment while Bell's agent said his client will let the legal process play out. The NFL could review potential discipline under its personal-conduct policy, and the team will address any roster implications in the coming days.

Washington: President Donald Trump said on April 11 that 'massive numbers of completely empty' oil tankers were heading to the United States to load up with what he called the 'best and sweetest' US oil and gas, posting the claim on Truth Social as senior US and Iranian delegations convened in Islamabad for mediated talks.

Islamabad: The post coincided with April 11 negotiations under Pakistani mediation to address the Strait of Hormuz standoff; reporting notes Iran and US delegations presented differing frameworks, the strait has been largely closed to shipping, commercial avoidance has raised energy costs, and US crude was reported trading at a premium on April 10 as talks continued.
