Google's YouTube has settled a lawsuit filed by former President Donald Trump for $24.5 million, following his account suspension after the January 6th Capitol attacks. The settlement designates $22 million for Trump to contribute to the Trust for the National Mall and White House ballroom construction, with the remainder going to other parties. This marks the third major tech company, after Meta and X, to settle similar lawsuits from Trump alleging unfair censorship. The settlement does not admit liability, and Trump's YouTube account has since been restored.
