What the latest polls are showing in the Mamdani vs Cuomo NYC mayoral race

New York City’s mayoral race heads into its final day with early voting closed and Election Day set for November 4. The Board of Elections reports 734,317 early ballots cast over nine days, more than quadruple 2021’s total. The latest RealClearPolitics average shows Democrat Zohran Mamdani at 45.8 percent, leading independent Andrew Cuomo at 31.1 and Republican Curtis Sliwa at 17.3 in a three-way contest. Current mayor Eric Adams withdrew earlier after an indictment that was dismissed in April. The general uses first past the post; polls are open 6am to 9pm.
