U.S. carried out a strike on another alleged drug-carrying boat in the Caribbean Sea, Pete Hegseth says

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the U.S. conducted its first night strike in the Caribbean, hitting a boat allegedly carrying narcotics and killing six men he called “narco-terrorists.” He said the vessel, linked to the Tren de Aragua gang, was on a known smuggling route in international waters. It’s at least the third strike this week; another in the Eastern Pacific killed three. The U.S. says there have been 10 strikes since early September, with 43 dead. President Donald Trump praised the campaign and ruled out seeking a war declaration, even as experts say most fentanyl enters by land.
