Returning from visits to Malaysia, Japan and South Korea, he said he’d given the move “a great deal” of thought on his flight back. As the standoff deepens, four GOP senators joined Democrats to reject his global tariffs, and states declared emergencies to shore up food aid with SNAP at risk. Separately, the UN human rights chief condemned lethal US strikes on alleged drug boats as “unacceptable.”
