Titans fire coach Brian Callahan

The Titans fired coach Brian Callahan on Monday afternoon, making him the first head coach dismissed in the 2025 regular season. The move followed a 20-10 loss in Las Vegas, after which defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons said it was one of the team’s worst weeks of practice. Pressure had been building since a 26-0 Week 4 defeat in Houston, briefly eased by a stunning comeback against the Cardinals when a dropped ball was kicked into the end zone for a Tennessee touchdown. Callahan exits 4-19; an interim is not yet named. The Patriots visit Nashville on Sunday.
