Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will pen the script for the next James Bond film, directed by Denis Villeneuve. Knight, a long-time Bond fan, expressed excitement about the project, stating it's been a lifelong ambition. The film, currently in development at Amazon MGM Studios, follows the departure of long-time producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. While the lead actor remains unconfirmed, a potential 2028 release date has been suggested. Knight's previous works include the acclaimed series Peaky Blinders and the Oscar-nominated film Dirty Pretty Things.
