Smith-Schuster left with bloody nose after Lions-Chiefs ends in ‘childish’ brawl

The Chiefs shook off a slow start with a 30-17 win over the injury-hit Lions, improving to 3-3. After the whistle, Detroit safety Brian Branch refused Patrick Mahomes’s handshake; after words with JuJu Smith-Schuster, Branch shoved him to the ground, knocked off his helmet, and left him with a bloody nose, according to Andy Reid. Branch called it childish, and coach Dan Campbell apologized, calling it inexcusable.
