The Los Angeles Rams overwhelmed the Jacksonville Jaguars, 35-7, taking control from the first two series and never letting go. Matthew Stafford went 21-of-33 for 182 yards and five touchdowns (an international series first), spreading the ball to 10 receivers. Davante Adams caught three scores; rookies Konata Mumpfield and Terrance Ferguson had the others. Jacksonville unraveled with seven sacks of Trevor Lawrence, 13 penalties for 119 yards, a wiped-out punt return TD and a missed 50-yard field goal. L.A.’s defense held the Jags to 3-of-15 on third down and no red-zone touchdowns; Travis Hunter supplied their lone score.
