Pentagon Tightens Press Access Rules

The Pentagon is implementing stricter rules for journalists covering the Department of Defense. Journalists will be required to sign a pledge promising not to gather unauthorized information, even unclassified materials. Failure to comply will result in the loss of press credentials and access to the Pentagon. These changes were confirmed by two anonymous U.S. officials.
