Patriots to trade Keion White to 49ers

New England has agreed to send defensive end Keion White and a 2026 seventh-round pick to the 49ers for a 2026 sixth-rounder, multiple reports say. The 2023 second-rounder has appeared in five games (one start) this season, logging 123 defensive snaps, 43 on special teams, and six tackles; he was a healthy scratch Sunday. San Francisco’s need at edge is acute after Nick Bosa’s season-ending ACL tear, the Panthers’ signing of Trevis Gipson off their practice squad, and injuries to Bryce Huff (hamstring), Yetur Gross-Matos (hamstring) and Sam Okuayinonu (ankle).
