Pakistani Navy Seizes $972M-Plus Drugs in Arabian Sea

Pakistan’s naval ship PNS Yarmook seized more than $972 million in narcotics from two stateless dhows in the Arabian Sea, U.S. Central Command confirmed. Acting within 48 hours, the crew confiscated several tons of crystal meth, valued at over $960 million, and a smaller quantity of cocaine, later tested and destroyed aboard. The Combined Maritime Forces hailed the raid, with a task force commander citing multinational coordination for one of CMF’s most successful drug busts. Pakistan’s navy shared video of the operation as CENTCOM congratulated the 47-nation partnership for disrupting regional smuggling.
