Las Vegas completed a sweep Friday, beating the Phoenix Mercury 97-86 in Game 4 to secure a third WNBA title in four years. A’ja Wilson, the league’s first four-time MVP, claimed her second Finals MVP with 31 points and nine boards, setting the tone with 12 in the first quarter. Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray added 18 apiece. The Aces, once .500 and humbled by a 53-point loss, found cohesion and closed strong. Phoenix, missing All-Star Satou Sabally, briefly surged after coach Nate Tibbetts’s ejection, but Wilson and the Aces silenced the rally and later shook a pink tambourine.
