DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said Sunday that British commentator Sami Hamdi’s visa was revoked and he is in ICE custody pending removal. Hamdi, who had been on a U.S. speaking tour and attended CAIR’s gala Friday in Sacramento, was detained Sunday at San Francisco International Airport, the group said, calling the move a blatant affront to free speech. McLaughlin posted that, under President Trump, supporters of terrorism will not be allowed in. The State Department reposted the announcement and said it continues to revoke visas for such activity, as judges have recently rebuked similar actions on First Amendment grounds.
