House Oversight GOP questions Biden authorization, seeks probe

House Oversight Republicans issued a 100-page report alleging, without evidence, that former President Joseph R. Biden Jr. was too cognitively impaired to make decisions and that aides hid his decline. Titled “The Biden Autopen Presidency,” it argues executive actions — including his son’s pardon — should be void without proof he authorized them. Chairman James Comer asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate all Biden-era actions; his letter suggested the report could underpin a future Justice Department prosecution. Bondi said she is reviewing autopen use for pardons.
