Google’s Photoshop-killer AI model is coming to search, Photos, and NotebookLM

Google is pushing its Nano Banana image-editing model beyond Gemini, bringing conversational edits to search via Lens and AI Mode, to NotebookLM's video styles, and to Google Photos. In Lens on iOS and Android, a banana-icon "Create" button lets users prompt edits and refine results in AI Mode; the "Create image" tool also supports new prompts. NotebookLM adds Nano Banana-powered styles like whiteboard, anime, and retro print, plus a new Brief format alongside Explainer. Google calls Nano Banana a major upgrade and says it will reach Photos in the coming weeks; conversational editing arrived there last month.
