Florida fired coach Billy Napier a day after an error-strewn 23-21 win over Mississippi State, ending a four-year tenure marked by puzzling calls and sputtering offense. Athletic director Scott Stricklin cited a lack of on-field success as the Gators' crowd booed Napier despite a game-sealing interception.
