Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said crowd noise muddled his cadence before a fourth-and-1 false start that preceded a missed 35-yard kick. Coach Mike McDaniel, shown seething on the broadcast, blamed self-inflicted errors as Miami went 2-for-12 on third down, committed three turnovers and came up empty on three red-zone trips. Baltimore blew it open in the third quarter. Fans streamed out; some donned paper bags. The Dolphins fell to 2-7, their worst start under McDaniel.
