Death toll from Rio de Janeiro police raid rises to 121

At least 121 people died in a massive police raid targeting the Red Command in Rio de Janeiro, authorities said, after gunbattles in the Complexo do Alemao and Penha favelas shut schools and left roads blocked by buses. Four officers were among the dead; 113 people were arrested, 118 weapons seized, and more than a ton of drugs confiscated.
