A cyberattack targeting Collins Aerospace, a provider of airport check-in and boarding systems, caused widespread disruption at major European airports on Saturday. Heathrow, Brussels, and Berlin airports experienced flight delays and cancellations due to the outage, which rendered automated check-in systems inoperable. While manual processes were implemented, significant delays resulted. Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of RTX, confirmed a "cyber-related disruption" and is working to resolve the issue. Frankfurt and Zurich airports reported no impact.
